The founded Viceroyalty of Peru, which until 1776 (that is, before the formation of the Viceroyalty of La Plata) included the territory of modern Bolivia, arose on the site of the Inca state destroyed by the conquistadors and undoubtedly retained in its culture a distant reflection of this ancient great civilization.

The culture of Peru was undoubtedly greatly influenced by the Indian heritage, as well as the ancient civilization of the Incas, who lived on Peruvian soil before it was conquered by the Spaniards. The legacy of the highly developed Inca civilization can be seen not only in the numerous archaeological sites and finds that are stored in the museums of Lima, but also in the modern folk art of the inhabitants of the capital of Peru.

The buildings of the colonial period are a mixture of Spanish and Indian styles, the combination of which the Peruvians called the Creole style.

The essence of the Creole style in furniture: armchairs with an elegant oval, decorative panels, small figurines, ceramic vases with exotic flowers.

Peruvian modern restaurants, the main credo of which is to acquaint guests with the culture and tastes of the country of the conquistadors, convey all the flavor and temperament through gastronomy and an atmosphere inspired by the colorful folklore of the Inca culture.

A real siesta reigns here, generous with emotions and tastes, and the atmosphere not only reflects traditional Spanish values, but is often supported by live music - a Spanish guitar or a band playing Spanish-Latin American compositions.

Bright hues are often used, such as orange, with its indigo blue windows adorned with tropical plants, taking us back to the colorful folklore of the peoples of the Sun.

In Peruvian culture, special attention is paid to tapas - small fresh dishes to share in a friendly way, highlighting the culinary heritage: Peruvian ceviche, quinoa salads, meat, fish or vegetarian taquitos, bao burgers and other delicious savory and sweet delicacies.

All this is accompanied by delicious cocktails with South American flavors or Latin American wines, so special attention is given to tapas bars, with an emphasis on a large and massive bar area made of precious woods and neat small tables, leaving guests an opportunity for incendiary Spanish dances. Great place for a group of friends who want to eat and dance.

Peruvian motifs also inspire contemporary furniture designers. So the designers of Pacific Ggreen (Pacific Green) created a whole collection of furniture based on Peruvian motifs, which is called Lima.
